Many delivery routes today follow a similar pattern: the vehicle stops, the driver opens the cargo area, searches for the right goods, moves other loading units aside, uses the tail lift, walks around the vehicle, or has to adapt to tight unloading spaces.

These processes cost time. They place a physical strain on the driver. And they make route planning more difficult.

That is why Hubwalter looks beyond just the vehicle to the entire process at each individual stop.

Reorganizing access to goods

The Hubwalter system combines a closed box body with multi-sided access, internal lift systems, and structured loading zones. Goods can be reached not only from the rear but, depending on the configuration, also from the side of the vehicle.

This creates a different way of accessing the cargo space: closer to the required goods, with fewer detours and less rearranging. Internal lift systems provide additional support by bringing loading units to an ergonomic working height or lowering them to ground level.

Fewer steps, less rearranging, better workflows

This difference becomes particularly relevant for routes with many stops, tight loading zones, and varying loading units. When goods are easier to reach, drivers spend less time searching, rearranging, and walking unnecessary distances.
